Job Opportunity: Family Solicitor
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join our national family team in Manchester.
About the Role
We are looking for a specialist Family lawyer with extensive experience of dealing with a varied caseload of divorce, matrimonial finances, private children work, and cohabitation disputes, supervising members of the team and providing a high level of client care, whilst maintaining adherence to our national standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Interaction: Dealing with sensitive matters under time pressures.
- Skills Required:
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-keeping skills.
- Ability to delegate work to other team members.
- Holding and attending new client meetings, providing realistic advice, setting expectations, and managing negotiations.
- Ensuring that time recording and billing are managed to achieve personal chargeable hours, billing, and cash collection targets.
- Support team in place to assist.
Business Development
- Engage in the development of the business for the Family Team.
- Attend networking events to develop personal contacts.
- Assist with marketing opportunities to raise the team’s profile.
