- Salary: £29,070 - £30,515 per annum (pro rata for part-time hours)
- Hours: 20 hours per week full year
- Contract: Maternity / Paternity. Required as soon as possible

Highfield Nursery School and Children's Centre is looking for a Family Support Practitioner.
Your responsibilities:
Using the Signs of Safety and Well-being Framework, you will enable and support families to make changes to their lives to promote:
- safety and stability
- independence
- physical and emotional health
- access to education, training and employment opportunities.
You will effectively:
- communicate and engage with children, young people and their families
- assess, plan and review
- report and record accurately
- actively build relationships and network with multi-agency partners
- appropriately manage risk and safeguarding concerns
- offer information, advice and signpost.
You will need:
- to hold a level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or BTEC in Family Support
- to be methodical and precise, a team player with good interpersonal skills
- we positively encourage the use of technology to communicate, but in this role, you will need to travel to locations away from your contractual base, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means. About us
Highfield Nursery School and Children’s Centre is based in South Ipswich between Whitton, Whitehouse and Castle Hill.
The centre is made up of a state-maintained nursery school, a not-for-profit year-round daycare provision and the children's centre.
