About Ormiston Families
At Ormiston Families, we believe everyone in the East of England deserves to feel happier, stronger, and understood. For more than 45 years, we've been supporting children, young people, and families to overcome challenges, improve emotional wellbeing, and build brighter futures. Everything we do is rooted in our values of collaboration, compassion, and effectiveness, and we're proud to work alongside people rather than simply for them, creating lasting change through trusted relationships, early intervention, and evidence-based support.
Our people are at the heart of our success. We know that when our colleagues feel valued, supported, and empowered, they can make the greatest difference to the lives of others. That's why we're committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming workplace where everyone can thrive, develop, and feel proud of the impact they make. Whether you're working directly with families or supporting our services behind the scenes, you'll be part of a dedicated team that shares a common purpose: helping children, young people, and families build resilience, strengthen connections, and create positive, lasting change in their communities. If you're looking for a rewarding career where your skills, ideas, and compassion can genuinely transform lives, we'd love you to join us.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
