£49,387 – £56,515 per annum
37.5 hours per week

The role
As a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist, you'll deliver specialist systemic interventions for children, young people and their families while supporting recovery throughout inpatient admission and discharge planning.

You'll:
- Deliver family and systemic assessments and therapeutic interventions
- Work closely with the CAMHS Inpatient Unit and COAST Crisis Outreach Team
- Contribute to formulation, care planning and multidisciplinary decision-making
- Support families throughout admission and recovery
- Participate in supervision, service development and quality improvement initiatives
About the service
Our newly redesigned CAMHS Inpatient Unit has been co-produced with young people, families and staff to provide purposeful, therapeutic care for children and young people experiencing acute mental health difficulties.
The service offers:
- Purposeful admissions with structured seven-day therapeutic programmes
- Strong links with community and crisis services, including COAST
- Trauma-informed and autism-aware practice
- Safe staffing, strong clinical leadership and a collaborative MDT culture
What we're looking for
We're seeking a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist who has:

- UKCP registration and recognised postgraduate systemic psychotherapy training
- Experience working with children, young people and families in crisis
- Strong risk assessment and multidisciplinary working skills
- A compassionate, adaptable and collaborative approach to care
- A passion for improving outcomes through family-focused practice
