Fanuc Robotics Training Specialist

We are recruiting an experienced Fanuc Robotics Trainer / Subject Matter Expert to develop specialist training materials for employees working with robotic systems in aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul environments.

The initial focus will be creating practical training covering Fanuc robot operation, programming, troubleshooting, safe use and applications including automated blasting, welding and inspection. There may also be opportunities to deliver the training on-site.

Key responsibilities

  • Review existing training topics, objectives and audience requirements
  • Develop presentations, exercises, training aids, screen recordings and supporting notes
  • Produce content for beginner, intermediate and advanced users
  • Create process-specific modules covering blasting, welding and inspection
  • Develop operator-level troubleshooting and fault-identification guidance
  • Tailor training to manufacturing and MRO shop-floor environments
  • Work with operators, engineers and manufacturing stakeholders to identify skills gaps
  • Recommend suitable training sequences and modular structures
  • Potentially deliver face-to-face training and follow-up coaching sessions

Essential experience

  • Previous experience as a Fanuc trainer, instructor or robotics subject-matter expert
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc robot operation, programming, setup and troubleshooting
  • Experience creating structured technical training materials
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with different experience levels
  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering or shop-floor environments
  • Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to connect robotics training with practical production applications

Desirable experience

  • Aerospace or MRO experience
  • Experience delivering both classroom and hands-on robotics training
  • Knowledge of automated blasting, welding or robotic inspection processes
