Farm Assistant (Mobile)
Hours: Any 5 days in 7 (6 when required) 40 hours per week
Hourly rate: £13.12 per hour
Location: Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Broiler Farms
You must hold a full UK driving licence as you will be travelling across our Broiler farms.
Working alongside experienced Farm Managers, you'll develop practical skills and play an active role in ensuring the highest standards of welfare, quality, and productivity while contributing to a safe, sustainable, and efficient farming operation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Monitoring bird health, welfare, and performance
- Managing feed, water, ventilation, heating, and lighting systems
- Supporting vaccination, bird weighing, and collection activities
- Maintaining accurate farm records
- Assisting with turnaround activities, cleaning, and biosecurity procedures
- Carrying out basic maintenance and fault-finding on farm equipment
- Working closely with veterinary and service teams
- Helping maintain a safe, clean, and professional farm environment
