BUNGE is a leading agribusiness solutions company with the talent, expertise and technology to advance the industry. Through our global footprint, diversified agricultural network and strong market access, we connect farmers to consumers and deliver essential food, feed and fuel to the world.

The Bunge UK business has been operating for almost 60 years and is a major participant in the UK grain, feed and biofuel markets. With strategically located storage and port facilities across the country, we provide efficient and reliable supply chain solutions while supporting growers with valuable market intelligence and commercial opportunities.

We are currently seeking a Grain Originator to join our Origination team, covering East Anglia. The position will be home based and can be based in Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Grain Originator, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with arable farmers across East Anglia, purchasing grain, oilseeds and pulses, and supporting the delivery of Bunge's commercial objectives.

Working closely with traders and colleagues across the business, you will play a key role in sourcing agricultural commodities while providing exceptional service and support to our grower network.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commercial awareness, relationship-building skills and an interest in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase grain, oilseeds and pulses from growers in line with pricing guidance from the Trading team.
  • Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with arable farmers across East Anglia.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Accurately enter and maintain contracts within the company's ERP system.
  • Gather and track market and grower information to support daily negotiations.
  • Operate within agreed gross margin targets and budgets.
  • Support commodity traders in sourcing products, resolving contract disputes and managing contracts.
  • Assist in managing relationships with third-party agents procuring grain on behalf of the business.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Origination, Trading and Execution to ensure the best outcomes for the business and customers.
  • Represent Bunge at farm visits, industry meetings, customer events and agricultural shows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
