Farm & Commercial Account Executive
Location: Carlisle (Warwick Bridge)
Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent
NFU Mutual Carlisle Agency is growing, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Commercial & Rural Account Executive to join our team.
This is a relationship-led role focused on developing new business opportunities across our farming and commercial client base. You'll spend time getting to know customers, understanding their businesses and helping them find the right insurance solutions to protect what matters most to them.
Working both in the office and out meeting customers, you'll build strong relationships, develop new business opportunities and become a trusted adviser within the local community.
What you'll be doing
- Developing new business opportunities across farming and commercial sectors
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Meeting customers face-to-face to understand their needs
- Preparing and presenting insurance solutions and quotations
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
- Growing and developing a portfolio of clients
- Representing NFU Mutual within the local business and rural community

What we're looking for
We're interested in people who enjoy meeting customers, building relationships and developing business opportunities.
You may already have insurance experience, but we're equally keen to hear from candidates with successful backgrounds in sales, account management or other customer-focused roles.
You'll have:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Confidence engaging with customers and identifying opportunities
- Strong organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Experience in sales, account management or business development
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A full UK driving licence
