FARM MANAGER - Necton
This role is a 5 from 7 shift pattern, with a 6th as required, covering 48 hours a week.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Farm Manager to join the team, who if not already, will become an eggspert of poultry in Pilgrims Europe!
Opportunity for an Experienced Broiler Farm Manager
We have an opportunity for an experienced Broiler Farm Manager to join our Broiler team. The successful candidate will provide overall responsibility of the Broiler Farm, including all aspects of husbandry, ensuring all stock produced is of the highest possible standard and meets the required specification in terms of weight, quality, health & safety, welfare, etc. encompassing commercial and financial aspects of the farm, which involves working to financial and physical budgets, and where appropriate, the management and development of a team of people.
Responsibilities
- Husbandry and Quality Assurance: Ensuring all stock produced meets the required specification in terms of weight, quality, health, safety, and welfare.
- Commercial and Financial Management: Working to financial and physical budgets.
- Team Management: Management and development of a team of people, if applicable.
- Professional Integrity: Maintaining the professional integrity and appearance of the farm and dwellings at all times.
- Animal Welfare: Ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene processes are adhered to and that the Farm staff are able to carry out their daily duties.
- Environmental Management: Managing and monitoring environmental systems, feed, water, and ventilation systems within agreed guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all matters relating to the birds, food, and suppliers.
- Alarm Management: Ensuring that an adequate supply is maintained and controlled to acceptable levels, including management of alarms, which may require call outs.

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role.
- Decision Making: Sound decision maker, who can work autonomously.
- Certification: Level 3 Poultry Passport Qualification.
- People Management: Supervisory and people management skills.
- Driving Licence: Full Driving Licence.
- Budget Management: Experience in budget management.
- Environmental Knowledge: Knowledge of environmental issues.
Academy Management
To promote future development across the Lincolnshire Broiler division, encouraging the development of new employees and further development for existing employees. To assist Assistant Farm Managers to further their career within the division.
