Build practical farming skills while helping deliver excellent animal welfare every day.
Role Overview
Join our outdoor pig farming team in the Balbeggie, Perth area and play an important role in supporting the care and management of livestock. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing a job well and is keen to develop a career within agriculture.
Whether you already have farming experience or are looking to learn something new, you'll receive full training and support to help you succeed.
Key Duties
- Work with pigs on an outdoor unit, including feeding, moving, serving, and handling
- Maintain high standards of animal welfare across the farm
- Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture
- Support the maintenance and upkeep of farm facilities and equipment
- Operate farm machinery safely and effectively
- Monitor livestock and report any concerns promptly
- Help maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the site
- Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of farm operations

- Comfortable working outdoors in a physically active role throughout the year
- Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to high standards of work
- Able to manage your time effectively and work independently when required

- A positive team member with a practical approach to work
- Able to travel independently to rural farm locations
- Committed to animal welfare and safe working practices
Desirable experience:
- Previous livestock or agricultural experience
- Experience operating farm machinery
