Description
The Agri Magic team live and breathe agriculture. We provide consultancy services to support farmers with solutions that achieve environmental outcomes while remaining profitable. We help our clients navigate change, identify opportunities and plan for a resilient farming future. As a recognised leader in the industry, and with a strong pipeline of work, we have opportunities available for Junior, Intermediate, or Senior consultants to join our team. Based in Templeton, you will work alongside farming clients to understand where they want to take their business, support them to get there, and help them proactively innovate and adapt to maintain a sustainable, profitable, and resilient farm system. You will contribute to delivering practical, evidence-based environmental and farm systems advice, and help translate science, policy, and modelling outputs into clear actions that our farming clients can implement. Building strong relationships, understanding needs, identifying opportunities, and ensuring the service you provide is farmer-centric will be critical aspects of this role.
Depending on your experience, the role may include:
- Supporting delivery of projects as part of a wider team (Junior)
- Owning end-to-end delivery, including technical analysis, project coordination, and proactive client communication (Intermediate)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
