Farm Worker
Location: Colchester/ Local farming sites
Pay: £12.71 per hour + Holiday, Pension and Adecco Benefits
Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week, 6am start daily - Working Monday to Sunday
Contract: Immediate Start Available - Seasonal temporary work until estimated 19th October
Induction on your first day
Please note this position will likely require working and staying away, accommodation will be paid for. Please only apply if you are happy to occasionally overnight stay for work.
Adecco Colchester is currently recruiting Farm Workers to join a busy agricultural operation. This is a hands-on outdoor role, ideal for candidates who enjoy practical work and working in a farming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing farm seed to required standards
- Conducting quality checks on seed products
- Taking seed samples for testing and inspection
- Operating, maintaining, and checking seed processing machinery
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations
- Carrying out manual handling and physical tasks as required
- Driving company vans between farms and field locations

Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Own transport is required to get to site each morning - not accessible on public transport
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
- Previous agricultural or farming experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided
