Six Stories is looking for an exceptional Fashion Buyer to join our growing team. This is an exciting role with huge opportunity for a commercially sharp, dynamic and solutions-focused individual who cares deeply about building a profitable, market-leading range brand and most importantly, the customers who wear it.

We're looking for someone with a strong commercial instinct, a deep understanding of product and the drive to make things happen with a sense of 'today'. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership and is excited to play a meaningful role in the next chapter of Six Stories.

Mission

Build and manage a commercially balanced range that maximises sales, margin and stock efficiency across Six Stories, translating design vision and customer insight into a profitable, market-leading assortment.

Working closely with the Head of Product, Co-Founders, Merchandisers and Designers, you will own range architecture, open-to-buy and supplier negotiations from initial range planning through to in-season trading, ensuring every decision supports growth, margin and sell-through.

You will be a hands-on, detail-focused buyer who understands product, fabrication and construction as deeply as you understand sales data, margin, market positioning and trend.

You will take your responsibility to build a profitable, well-balanced range seriously, taking initiative to problem solve, act quickly and pivot when the market demands it.

Guided by the Six Stories values of joy, authenticity, community and quality, you will bring commercial rigour to established bestsellers and help shape new ranges that feel unmistakably Six Stories.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
