Fashion News & Features Director

Grazia is looking for a dynamic Fashion News & Features Director to write, commission, and edit fashion news and features across digital, social, and print. This is a pivotal role that helps shape the tone and voice of Grazia fashion, from fashion month coverage to the magazine's fashion pages.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading Grazia's digital and social fashion coverage, including fashion month, and writing fast, sharp, search-optimised news and features.
  • Generating news and features ideas that keep Grazia at the forefront of the fashion conversation and pitching them at daily conference.
  • Using your relationships with brands and PRs to secure exclusives and breaking stories.
  • Writing and commissioning fashion features for print and bringing new voices into Grazia.
  • Appearing on camera for Grazia's social channels, including at shows and events.
  • Representing Grazia at industry events and building key brand relationships to turn into commercial ideas that work for both the client and the Grazia reader.

Who you are

  • Significant experience in a fashion editorial role, writing, commissioning, and editing across digital and print.
  • Confident on camera and happy to front social content.
  • Ability to build and edit stories at speed in a CMS, and understanding of SEO, from body copy to headlines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and an eye for new stories and audience growth.
  • Keen visual abilities for choosing effective pictures to go with copy.
  • Understanding of the Grazia reader instinctively.
  • Strong contacts book, from designers to PRs.
  • Comfortable working to traffic and engagement targets.
  • Commercially minded, with a track record for delivering revenue-generating ideas with brands.

Where you'll be

The team works in the office Tuesday to Thursday and from home on Mondays and Fridays. This pattern changes during the fashion show season.
