Job Title
We are working with a leading personal injury law firm to find an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner to join their Multi-Track/Intermediate Track team, managing a caseload predominantly comprising Intermediate Track EL/PL and RTA matters, with some Multi-Track exposure.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage files from inception to conclusion, including litigated matters, within a largely fixed-fee environment. This role requires a confident litigator with practising rights who is commercially aware, technically strong, and comfortable working to financial and time recording targets.
You will be expected to progress cases proactively and efficiently, while delivering exceptional client care.

Job Description
- Manage a caseload of approximately 70 files, primarily Intermediate Track EL/PL and RTA matters, with some Multi-Track cases.
- Conduct matters through pre- and post-litigation stages, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and instructions to counsel.
- Make effective use of the case management system to ensure timely progression and accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain compliance with time recording and financial performance expectations.
- Communicate confidently and professionally with clients, insurers, experts, counsel and third-party solicitors.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to maximise settlement and costs recovery.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with medical experts and counsel.
- Work collaboratively within the team and contribute to case discussions and strategy.
Person Specification
Essential
- Proven experience handling claimant Personal Injury matters.
- Demonstrable experience managing a fixed-fee caseload efficiently and profitably.
- Experience handling Intermediate Track cases.
- Practising rights (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
- Strong working knowledge of CPR and litigation procedure.
- Confident litigator with the ability to handle cases independently.
- Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
- Commercial awareness, with an understanding of costs and profitability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and work under pressure.
- Compassionate and client-focused approach.
