The Role

As a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests. You will support the wider team by preparing and serving food and drinks, maintaining a clean and organised environment, and delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Please note: this is a casual role, and hours will vary depending on event schedules.

The Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Prepare and serve food and snacks in line with company standards.
  • Use tills to take orders and process payments accurately.
  • Engage with customers, responding to enquiries and promoting current offers.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across all service areas.
  • Respond promptly to spills and potential hazards, ensuring a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable guest experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods to support operations.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage or customer-facing role is desirable.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (training can be provided).
  • Experience working in a hospitality or event environment is beneficial.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Friendly and approachable with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional approach at all times.
  • A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
