F&B Commercial Lead | 3-Month FTC

I'm working with a major UK live entertainment business that is looking for an F&B Commercial Lead to join on a 3-month FTC.
This is a focused, commercially driven project role, ideal for someone with strong food and drink experience who can quickly get into the detail, interrogate the data and turn analysis into clear recommendations and action. You'll work closely with the F&B leadership team, Finance and venue teams to deliver a programme of F&B range reviews across a multi-site venue estate, with a focus on improving sales, margin and spend per head.
The Role
- Lead F&B range reviews from data gathering and analysis through to recommendations, sign-off and implementation
- Develop clear, costed recommendations across range, pricing and promotional mix
- Quantify the sales and margin opportunity across priority categories
- Build commercial cases to support senior decision-making
- Identify opportunities to increase spend per head across the venue estate
- Develop and launch trials, with a roadmap for wider rollout where successful
- Work closely with F&B, Finance and operational teams to turn recommendations into action
- Manage multiple reviews simultaneously while working to tight deadlines

About You
We're looking for someone with strong commercial experience across food and drink, whether that's within F&B commercial, category management, buying or a similar environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience delivering range or category reviews to deadline
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate sales and margin data independently
- Experience building commercial cases and making evidence-based recommendations
- The confidence to influence senior stakeholders and hold your position when challenged
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities at pace
- A pragmatic approach to working within a live operational environment

Experience within multi-site or venue-based F&B would be advantageous, although transferable experience from other food and drink environments will be considered.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on commercial problem solving, can make decisions with imperfect information and wants to deliver tangible results within a short, focused project.
