A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR AT OLD TOWN CHAMBERS

What you'll be doing...

  • Lead and support the F&B team during service, ensuring guests receive warm, attentive and professional service throughout their stay.
  • Supervise day-to-day F&B operations, ensuring service runs smoothly and standards are consistently maintained.
  • Lead by example during busy periods, remaining hands-on and stepping in wherever needed to support the team.
  • Welcome guests, respond to requests and feedback, and resolve any service issues professionally and confidently.
  • Brief and guide team members during shifts, allocating tasks and supporting colleagues to deliver an efficient service.
  • Monitor food and beverage presentation, stock levels, cleanliness and health & safety standards across the operation.
  • Support the training and development of team members, working closely with the wider team to create a seamless guest experience.

What We Need From You

  • Previous food and beverage experience, ideally within a supervisory or senior team member role.
  • A warm, professional and approachable personality with a genuine passion for creating great guest experiences.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead and support a team during busy service periods.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and keep service running smoothly.
  • A hands-on approach — you're happy to get stuck in and lead by example when the team needs you.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and safety.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with the flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
