Role Description
This is a project-based, FCA-regulated financial adviser role. The financial adviser will provide compliant, client-focused financial advice, conducting detailed fact-finds, assessing client objectives, and recommending suitable solutions in areas such as financial planning, investments, and retirement planning. The role involves preparing and presenting clear advice reports, maintaining accurate client records, and ensuring all activities adhere to FCA regulations and internal governance standards. The adviser will regularly review client portfolios, monitor market developments, and adjust recommendations to reflect changing circumstances and risk profiles. Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with colleagues on systems governance, supporting structured advisory processes, and contributing to continuous improvement in a regulated, high-accountability environment.

Qualifications
- Strong financial planning and financial advisory skills, with the ability to assess client needs and design appropriate, compliant solutions.
- Solid foundation in finance and investments, including knowledge of risk, returns, portfolio construction, and regulated products.
- Experience in retirement planning, including understanding of long-term savings, pension structures, and decumulation strategies.
- Relevant professional qualification(s) for FCA-regulated advice (e.g., Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent) and a record of regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly, with strong analytical, numerical, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, client-centric mindset, and attention to detail in high-accountability, regulated environments.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Port Harcourt, collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple client relationships.
- Prior experience in advisory roles within financial services or regulated sectors is highly beneficial; familiarity with cross-border or international contexts is an advantage.
- Experienced across debt, budgeting, financial planning and the financial side of career transition.
- At ease supporting people under real stress, with care and discretion.
