Sales Development Representative – FCM London
FCM Travel is a global travel management company with substantial growth plans looking for someone who succeeds in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-energy, high-motivation environment. FCM is seeking to hire a Sales Development Representative to join our European sales team. This role will be based in London, out of our Bankside (London Bridge) office, and will have a specific focus on the Ireland market.
About the Role
The ideal applicant will be results-driven, detail-oriented, and will possess an overwhelming desire to hit sales expectations. The right candidate will be a creative, customer-focused individual and excel in a collaborative work environment with sales leaders and the sales operations team. This person will possess high-communication skills and strive for development within their sales career.
Responsibilities
- Engage with decision makers in ICP accounts and schedule first meetings for the FCM sales team.
- Leverage Sales Engagement (Salesforce) and outbound prospecting techniques to run cadences on target accounts.
- Manage inbound marketing-generated leads and convert into meetings for sales pipeline.
- Work alongside other SDR’s around the globe to maximize pipeline generation and align on global processes and strategies.
- Using Martech in place (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Sales Nav, and Highspot) for industry and marketing focused awareness, lead generation and prospecting.
- Track all activity through our CRM, Salesforce.

Requirements
To be successful as an SDR you need:
- Curiosity, an interest in understanding customers challenges and a desire to find the right solution that fits their needs
- Inbound/ outbound sales experience responsible for filling the top of the funnel with qualified business.
- Motivated to overcome obstacles when making meetings and hitting targets.
- Strong communication skills, particularly when it comes to cold calling.
- Ability to prioritise when managing multiple deliverables.
- Strong motivation for continuous knowledge and learning
- Must be a team player with the ability to build relationships with clients and staff.
- Prior experience working in the travel industry is preferred but not essential.
