London (Soho), Full time, in person
Pharosyn is working with some of the world’s largest pharma companies to rebuild how the entire industry makes decisions.
Our mission is to optimize decision-making in pharma by automating consultant-heavy workflows in market research, forecasting and portfolio strategy. This represents a $100B market. We build high-agency pods of engineers and ex-consultants to quickly build scalable agentic systems for each workflow.
We are VC-backed, and are adding 6-figure expansions every month.
The role
This is a forward-deployed role. You will sit with client teams, understand their workflows in depth, and build the systems that do the work. You are the primary technical counterpart to senior client stakeholders, owning each deployment from scoping to go-live. You will set technical direction rather than inherit it.
Growth means taking on entirely new departments. You take on a new client department with one or two supporting engineers and a domain expert with years of industry experience. You figure out what to build, then build it, with full authority over architecture, stack, and agent design. And what you build becomes product: the agents, workflows, and triggers you create for one client become the primitives we deploy for the next.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
In a given week you might:
- Build an ingestion pipeline for a European regulator
- Run a working session with a client team
- Tune an agent's harness against live output
- Ship a feature end-to-end from ingestion to UI
Our stack today is Next.js and TypeScript, Python with FastAPI, and Postgres, with frontier models throughout; where it goes next is your call.
You will thrive if you:
- Have been a forward deployed engineer, founding engineer, or technical founder at a strong scale-up/startup B2B SaaS or AI company, with 3+ years in production teams
- Have taken undefined user problems and shipped software for them with no product manager
- Have built, evaluated, deployed, and iterated AI agents in production, and keep up with new techniques
- Work fast, with little supervision, and do not drop problems before they are solved
- Want to go deep on the domain (a life sciences background helps but is not required)
