The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons within your specialist subject
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Differentiate teaching to meet individual learner needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and professional standards
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Support learners with their progression into employment, apprenticeships or further study

Who We're Looking For

  • ✅ Relevant degree, vocational qualification or significant industry experience within your subject area
  • ✅ Teaching qualification such as PGCE, PCET, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent is desirable, although not essential for some vocational subjects
  • ✅ Experience teaching, training, coaching or assessing learners is desirable
  • ✅ Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills
  • ✅ Passion for supporting learners and delivering high-quality teaching
  • ✅ Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willing to obtain registration
