**# Informatics Analyst – Feasibility & Proposals Team | London Office (Hybrid/Collaborative Environment)

About the Role

The Feasibility & Proposals department at Medpace is seeking qualified Informatics Analysts to join our Informatics Team in our London office. This team applies informatics principles, data visualisation, and analytical techniques to architect, analyse, and visualise clinical trial data, delivering key insights for study design choices in pharmaceutical development.

analysts will create compelling visualisations and recruitment models to support proposal feasibility strategies and ad hoc analytical projects.

This highly collaborative team, comprising members from both London and Cincinnati, partners directly with clinical operations, medical, and feasibility teams on advanced data queries and analyses. The team also works alongside business analytics and software engineering to design innovative data storage and access solutions for optimal data utilisation.

This opportunity is ideal for an analytical professional with a background or passion for data science, statistics, or epidemiology.


Responsibilities

  • Data Strategy & Feasibility Analysis

    • Evaluate data requirements for assigned projects and propose strategic approaches tailored to study design and opportunity specifics
    • Conduct comprehensive reviews of data sources to ensure the delivery of high-quality informatics data and analytics to cross-functional teams
  • Proposal Support & Country/Site Selection

    • Collaborate with global feasibility leads to contribute insights on site and country feasibility selection based on available data
    • Translate findings into clear, compelling data visualisations demonstrating enrolment modelling and overall feasibility strategy

  • Database & Query Development

    • Plan and implement database architecture projects and execute custom queries for methodological and clinical data sources
  • Project Support & Stakeholders

    • Provide hands-on support in drafting proposal text and helping with bid defence meetings and preparing project teams
    • Drive departmental process improvements through analytical insights

Qualifications

Education & Technical Proficiency

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Informatics
    • Computer science/engineering
    • Biomedical engineering
    • Health information management
    • Statistics
    • Or a related analytical field
  • Preferred: Experience with computer programming (e.g., R for data queries, statistical analysis, or database design)
  • Preferred: Prior experience in clinical research (1-2 years)

  • Analytical mindset with an eye for precision and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven timelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally
