Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Feature Integration Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35
This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £35.80 per hour.
Duties
A vacancy for a Feature Integration Engineer has arisen, to be responsible for overseeing that the software feature content for a specific vehicle programme is clearly defined, delivered and signed off to target. This involves understanding the customer experience offering of each feature, agreeing this offering across stakeholders such as Marketing, Programme Management and Vehicle teams and then aligning plans with the technical domains that will deliver it. Throughout the vehicle programme, the Integration Engineer works with the technical domains to manage the feature's design specification development to assess and report out on readiness for deployment and subsequent testing progression through all of its maturity levels through to launch.

The role includes regular discussion with feature owners to collate and understand risks and plans for new features and regularly reports out a full status via a consolidated report, as well as organising feature demonstrations so that the customer experience can be assessed.
Essential Skills, Knowledge And Experience Required
- Good understanding of software / feature integration and systems engineering principles
- Experience in the planning and integration of complex electrical and software systems in an automotive or similar discipline.
- Experience of leading engineering product delivery using project management techniques.
- Proven ability to interpret and use technical data along with business skills for decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to collaboratively influence across all business functions and at different levels.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office software applications - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc…

Essential Education Required
- Relevant Degree or equivalent level qualification or experience in a relevant field
