The Opportunity

Together we can do great things. Be part of something bigger.

Here, you can continue to make a difference in everything around you. There are so many reasons to take your next step with us.

The University of Edinburgh is a world-class organisation. We are a large University covering a wide range of activities. In Professional Services, we support the University’s research and teaching, offering many career and role specialisms.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the successful delivery of Evidence Exchange (EvEx), an ESRC funded investment creating a national infrastructure to widen and diversify opportunities for public and civil servants to take up learning and exchange offers from universities and research organisations. The EvEx project brings together a consortium of universities, partners and specialist organisations across the UK.

  • This post will play an important role in the design and delivery of the EvEx Policy Fellowships programme within Scotland.
  • The post holder will contribute their expert knowledge and brokering skills to understand the policy needs of the public and civil servants taking part in the programme, then find and match relevant academic expertise (from University of Edinburgh and beyond) for them to meet with.
  • As the Fellowships Coordinator, you will work within a small team at Edinburgh based in the Edinburgh Research Office, as well as communicating with counterparts across the EvEx consortium.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
