Female Care Support Worker - Bartley Green

At Lifeways, the UK's largest supported living provider, we're looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Female Care Support Workers to join our friendly team at Newman Gardens in Bartley Green.

What We Offer
Shift Pattern
- 7:00am to 2:30pm
- 2:30pm to 10:00pm
Contract Available
- Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

The service consists of sixteen self-contained apartments, each with its own bedroom, open-plan living space and bathroom. Residents also enjoy access to an accessible garden, patio and BBQ area, creating opportunities to relax, socialise and enjoy the outdoors.
Located in the heart of Bartley Green, we're surrounded by fantastic local amenities and green spaces, including Woodgate Valley Country Park and Bartley Green Reservoir. People we support regularly enjoy days out, leisure activities, shopping trips, fitness sessions and community events across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same. You'll be supporting people to live as independently as possible while helping them enjoy the activities and experiences that matter most to them.
This May Include
- Supporting people in their own homes
- Encouraging independence and building confidence
- Helping people access their local community
- Attending football matches, events and social activities
- Supporting arts, crafts, baking, music and dancing sessions
- Accompanying people on shopping trips and day outings
- Providing personal care and daily living support where required
Most importantly, you'll be helping people live happy, meaningful lives and achieve their personal goals.
