Female Night Care Assistant Required
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and caring Female Night Care Assistant to support a young child with complex medical needs in her family home.
Hours
- Thursday and Friday nights
- 10:00pm to 7:00am
- Additional shifts may occasionally be available.
About the Role
You will provide overnight care and monitoring for a child with complex healthcare needs, ensuring her safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night.
Duties will include:
- Overnight observation and monitoring.
- Administration of medication via PEG.
- Managing PEG feeds according to her care plan.
- Basic respiratory support, including occasional use of Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) when required.
- Chest physiotherapy.
- Personal care, including overnight hygiene and comfort needs.
- Maintaining accurate care records and communicating any concerns to the family.

Training
Experience in children's complex care is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided in:
- PEG feeding and medication administration.
- NIV use and respiratory care.
- Chest physiotherapy techniques.
- All aspects of the individual's care plan.

About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be caring, patient, and attentive.
- Have a calm and reassuring manner.
- Be reliable and able to work independently overnight.
- Have experience in care, healthcare, or support work (preferred).
- Be willing to undertake specialist training.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- References from previous employment.
- Care Certificate or NVQ level 3
