Do you have a passion for supporting women facing complex challenges?
Are you committed to helping vulnerable individuals overcome barriers and build safer, more stable lives?
We're looking for a dedicated Female Link Worker to join Project Aurora in Kings Lynn. Working as part of a collaborative partnership, you will provide holistic, client-led support to women who have experienced domestic abuse and are struggling to access or maintain suitable housing.
About St Giles Trust
An ambitious, well-established charity that helps people facing adversity to find jobs, homes and the right support they need.
Central to our ethos is our belief that people with first-hand experience of successfully overcoming issues such as an offending background, homelessness, addictions and gang involvement, hold the key to positive change in others.
About The Role
As a Female Link Worker, you will work directly with women who may be experiencing multiple disadvantages, including domestic abuse, housing instability, substance misuse, mental health challenges, and disengagement from support services.
Your role will focus on empowering women to access the support they need, improve their wellbeing, and move towards more positive and sustainable futures.
You will
- Deliver comprehensive assessments, advice, advocacy, and tailored support plans.
- Provide outreach support across the local community, helping women engage with housing, mental health, domestic abuse, and other specialist services.
- Build strong partnerships with local agencies and stakeholders to ensure a whole-system approach to support.
- Promote safeguarding and implement appropriate safety measures where required.
- Maintain accurate case records and contribute to achieving project outcomes and targets.
- Support women to develop long-term plans, reducing the risk of further crisis and helping them access ongoing support networks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
