We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Live In Carer to provide essential support to a lovely couple.

The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, particularly Dementia Care and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the couple with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to customers’ dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a positive environment.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients’ health conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for customers.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in customers’ conditions to relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Take them both to their social activities at their local church and Costa.

Experience

  • Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in first aid and basic life support techniques is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with dementia care practices and behaviour management strategies is preferred.
  • A background in nursing or related healthcare fields would be beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and their families.
  • A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Shift Pattern

You would be required to work 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off.

Pay

£200 per day.

Requirements

  • DBS Checks, if you do not have them then the company will organise this.
