Job Description
Role
As an experienced Live-In Carer, you’ll be supporting this lovely couple in their home, situated at Blue Anchor a lovely quaint little seaside retreat, providing reassurance and helping them feel safe in their home. You will need to have your own car and business class insurance to support this client’s activities, by going shopping or to appointments.

Key Tasks
- Provide round-the-clock care, including personal care, companionship, and home help
- Be a consistent and comforting presence, offering support tailored to each client’s unique needs
- Assist with tasks such as cooking, medication reminders, housekeeping, and emotional support
- As a Live-In Care Professional, you will receive 3 meals a day or food allowance to be discussed upon interview. Your own room to stay in and access to a TV and WiFi and a 2 hour break each day, when best for our clients
Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Level 5 English and IT literate
- Alzheimer’s experience and catering for a celiac client
- A valid Category B driving license is a genuine occupational requirement for this role due to the need to travel between remote sites where public transport is unavailable
- DBS on the Update Service
- You have the right to work in the UK (we do not offer any form of Sponsorship)
- This post is open to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of the intimate support services provided to female service users
