Female Paediatric Nurse (RNC) – Complex Care (Community)
Location: Swindon
Pay Rate: £32.57 per hour (including holiday pay)
Shifts/Hours: Nights - Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday - 10pm - 8am

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Registered Paediatric Nurse to join our Complex Care team, supporting children and young people with complex healthcare needs in their homes and local communities.

About the Role
As a Community Complex Care Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for children and young people with a range of complex medical conditions. You will work closely with families, carers, support workers, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective care tailored to each child's needs.

In this role, you will be supporting our paediatric female client who is living with complex care needs within her family home. On shift you will provide personal care, administering medications, and managing our clients clinical interventions (all training will be provided).
Skills/Interventions:
- NP/OP suctioning
- Chest Physio
- Care and Use of Gastrostomy
- Epilepsy
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain personalised care plans and risk assessments.
- Deliver and oversee complex clinical interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate care outcomes, escalating concerns where appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance, clinical governance, and safeguarding processes.

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN/RN Child) with a valid PIN.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience caring for children with complex healthcare needs.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and family-centred care approach.
- Knowledge of safeguarding children and young people.
