We are looking for a sociable, chatty female personal assistant to support a lovely 34-year-old female who is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys being active and out in the community. She is currently studying, and in her final year at Newcastle University.
About The Role
As a personal assistant you will play an important role in supporting this lady to live confidently and independently at home and be supported in the community. If you’re reliable, respectful and enjoy making a positive difference to someone’s day, this post could suit you!
You will provide day-to-day support with things like preparing meals and keeping the home running smoothly. No two days will be the same, and you’ll be a valued part of helping her live the life she chooses.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- supporting with travel and accessing the community
- support with organising and attending appointments (including hospital and university)
- occasional support pushing a manual wheelchair
- providing general practical and organisational support
- help with meal preparation and household tasks

This role would suit someone who is friendly, dependable, chatty and able to work independently while building a positive, professional working relationship. This role is person-centred, meaningful and truly rewarding- you’ll be supporting someone to stay independent and continue doing the things she enjoys.

Additional Requirements
- must be a driver with access to own vehicle
- enhanced DBS required (funded by the employer)
