About the Role
Our client is currently looking for an experienced female personal assistant to assist and promote her independence out in the community and develop independent life skills.
Carly has Autism and mental health support needs; she currently lives with her parents and has a dog so you must be comfortable being around animals as one of the activities Carly enjoys is walking the dog.
The role will include supporting and prompting Carly with personal care and dressing where required when she loses motivation, you will also be required to support and aid Carly to develop independent life skills like preparing nutritional meals in the kitchen and budgeting along with accessing the community to enjoy activities of her own choice.

Carly enjoys music and horror films and has attended various concerts in the past. She enjoys beauty and skin care routines and enjoys shopping for beauty products or new tattoo designs, she is a keen photographer and enjoys TikTok which she can get engrossed in, supervision may be required to prevent Carly from oversharing.
One of Carly’s goals is to explore a volunteer role so you may be required to assist Carly to explore options that are suitable for her.
Carly is looking for someone to become part of the family dynamics, so a good sense of humour and the ability to engage with the other members of her family including the dog is essential.
