Job Title
Area: Newcastle upon Tyne
Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: 4 hours per week. Predominantly Saturdays and school holidays, with some flexibility available.
We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support our 14-year-old daughter to access social activities, build confidence, develop independence and make new friends.
Our daughter is sociable, imaginative and loves singing, dancing, music, puzzles and spending time outdoors. She has KPTN disorder, autism and a learning disability and benefits from support to understand social situations, manage changes to routine and stay safe while out in the community.

- Supporting attendance at social and leisure activities, including drama groups, swimming and outdoor adventures.
- Encouraging friendships and social interaction.
- Supporting family outings when required.
- Providing prompts with eating, drinking and toileting.
- Supporting personal care during menstruation.
- Monitoring for signs of low blood sugar and potential seizure activity.
