About the Role

We are seeking individuals to provide excellent person-centred care and support to tenants with learning disabilities living within the Whitley Bay area. You will assist and develop the everyday living skills of our service users and support them to enjoy a wide range of activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide positive and enthusiastic support to tenants.
  • Demonstrate superb communication skills.
  • Work within positive behaviour support guidelines.
  • Encourage tenants to live socially inclusive lives.
  • Build a trusting and friendly rapport with all service users.
  • Work within the guidelines of local and corporate policies in a dignified manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months' experience.
  • Gender is considered to be an occupational requirement. - Equality Act 2010

Job Details

  • This is a Relief Support Worker position enabling you to pick up shifts at a time that suits you.
  • Ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities.
  • Paid on a weekly basis.
