Job Description
We have a new opportunity available for a Female Shared Housing Manager*.
Do you have a passion and drive to work with women with mental health support needs in a shared housing project? If so, we have a rewarding opportunity for a manager to join our Shared Housing Team based in Bristol. You will join us on a full time, Permanent Contract working 37.5 hours per week and participation in our out of hours telephone on call rota. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of Point 23 £35,570 per annum plus benefits.

About The Role
This is a management role within Missing Link’s Shared Housing Service, responsible for leading and developing a team to deliver high quality, trauma informed support to women with mental health needs and/or complex needs who have experienced homelessness.

As the Female* Shared Housing Manager, you will provide effective leadership, guidance and supervision to staff, ensuring the service is safe, responsive and focused on achieving positive outcomes for the women we support. You will be responsible for overseeing day to day service delivery, supporting staff development, maintaining compliance with organisational and contractual requirements, and building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
You will have experience of leading services and managing teams within housing, homelessness, mental health or related support settings. You will be passionate about delivering person centred and trauma informed support, promoting a positive team culture, and ensuring women receive the highest standard of care and support to achieve greater independence and wellbeing.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Experience of managing or supervising staff within housing, homelessness, mental health, domestic abuse, or other support services.
- A strong understanding of trauma informed, person centred approaches and the challenges faced by women experiencing multiple disadvantage.
- Experience of supporting people with complex needs, including mental health needs, and promoting positive outcomes.
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop a team, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, partners and external agencies.
- Experience of managing service performance, maintaining quality standards and meeting contractual requirements.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Confidence in managing safeguarding concerns, risk, and complex situations.
- A full driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.
