Role
We welcome applications from people at all levels — whether you’re new to social care or have lots of experience. This is a physical, hands-on role, and to succeed you’ll have:
- Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
- The ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a 7-day availability
- Previous experience in a care/support setting
- The ability to work long shifts (12 hours +)
- A valid manual UK driving licence
- The legal right to live and work in the UK

Who You’ll Be Supporting
We’re looking for a compassionate, resilient support worker to join a young woman on her exciting move to her own apartment. She has complex health needs including autism, learning disabilities, and RCDP, and is seeking someone experienced, patient, and positive to support her with daily living, communication (Makaton & PECS), mobility, and emotional wellbeing.
She loves rollerblading in Battersea Park and is a huge fan of Christmas music, so if you’re calm, consistent, and don’t mind a bit of repetition, you’ll fit right in!
You’ll support her during day services and community outings on a 2:1 basis. A manual UK driving licence is essential.
We’re looking for someone with experience in at least two of the following:
- Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP)
- Autism & severe learning disabilities
- Physical disabilities (wheelchair user)
- Behaviours that challenge
- Resilience
