Make a Real Difference Every Day

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Female Support Worker to join our daughter's care team and become part of our supportive family environment.

This is a unique opportunity to work one-to-one with a delightful 7-year-old girl with complex medical needs who loves being outdoors, singing, playing, and engaging with the world around her. If you are passionate about helping children thrive and want a rewarding long-term role where you can truly make a difference, we would love to hear from you.

This position offers excellent rates of pay, specialist training, long-term stability, and the opportunity to be part of a child's developmental journey.

About The Role

You will provide high-quality, child-centred support, helping our daughter achieve her goals and participate fully in family, school, and community life.

Responsibilities Include

  • Providing daily care and support, including tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, mobility assistance, and continence care (full specialist training provided).
  • Supporting communication using PECS, Makaton, and electronic AAC devices.
  • Encouraging play, learning, therapy activities, and social development.
  • Helping achieve agreed monthly developmental goals focused on communication, mobility, independence, and cognitive skills.
  • Supporting speech and language therapy programmes, including oral motor activities.
  • Accompanying our daughter to school, appointments, activities, and community outings.
  • Working collaboratively with parents, therapists, and other support staff.
  • Supporting the wider family to maintain a positive and nurturing home environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
