Support Worker - Female £15.50 per hour | | Days Days:8am to 8pm 24hrs per week including weekends. Full flexibility required. Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk – IP11 Make a Real Difference Every Shift HomeCareDirect is looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team supporting a young woman living at home with her brother. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, person centred support and help someone enjoy the routines and activities that matter most to her. About the Person You Will Support She has cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and autistic traits. She can walk short distances but requires attentive support due to balance and coordination needs. She enjoys trips out, especially visiting Burger King and spending time playing 2p slot machines. She communicates verbally and benefits from clear, short instructions with time to process information. Her brother is closely involved in her care and supports carers in maintaining her routine. What the Role Involves Supporting community outings and activities Medication administration Moving and handling Personal care Household tasks and light admin Providing structured, consistent support About You Full UK driving licence essential for day shifts. Must be 21+ for insurance purposes Previous care experience preferred but not essential Experience supporting challenging behaviours desirable Knowledge of epilepsy desirable Reliable, flexible and positive in your approach Passionate about making a genuine difference If you have supported a family member or friend and want to build a career in care, we provide full training to help you succeed.
