Role Description
The Fence Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Stockport. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Installing a range of fence types
- Preparing and setting posts
- Mixing and pouring concrete
- Ensuring accurate measurements and alignment
- Reading and following installation plans
- Using hand and power tools safely
- Loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Interacting professionally with clients
- Following health and safety procedures
- Working closely with team members to complete projects on time and to specification

Qualifications
- Practical construction skills, including basic carpentry, use of hand and power tools, and safe material handling.
- Ability to read and interpret simple site plans, take accurate measurements, and align fencing structures correctly.
- Strong physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors, and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship, safety, and maintaining a tidy work site.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when working with team members, supervisors, and clients.
- Reliable transport to the Stockport site and flexibility to work standard full-time hours, with occasional overtime as required. Vehicle provided.
- Previous experience in fencing installation, landscaping, or general construction is preferred but not essential.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices and a willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
