About the Role

ara Design is a hospitality-focused interior design studio seeking a skilled and detail-oriented FF&E Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for a designer with strong experience in furniture, fixtures, and equipment specification, vendor coordination, and project delivery across hospitality and residential projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience as an FF&E Designer or in a similar role
  • Background in interior design (degree or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of furniture, materials, finishes, and FF&E specifications
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects

Responsibilities:

  • Develop FF&E concepts and specifications from concept to completion
  • Prepare FF&E schedules and documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
  • Work closely with the design team and communicate with clients
