Are you a detail-driven Furniture Estimator with a passion for commercial interiors, furniture specification and bringing workplace designs to life?

We’re looking for an experienced Furniture Estimator to join a growing interiors team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality furniture solutions from initial cost planning through to final installation.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong technical furniture knowledge with commercial awareness, exceptional organisation and the drive to keep projects moving seamlessly from quote to completion.

What you’ll be doing

  • Produce and maintain detailed furniture cost plans using Excel, including accurate take-offs and costings.
  • Provide expert furniture specifications and technical support to sales and design teams.
  • Source and collate high-quality product imagery to bring furniture proposals and cost plans to life.
  • Coordinate accurate, commercially competitive cost plans, working closely with the Head of Furniture and Furniture Consultants to meet deadlines.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain detailed quotations and ensure all pricing and specifications are accurate.
  • Prepare finishes schedules that align with furniture proposals and design intent.
  • Manage the purchasing process, placing orders through internal systems and checking order acknowledgements against signed-off contracts.
  • Oversee purchase orders, resolving discrepancies and ensuring all orders are accurate and on track.
  • Coordinate installation documentation and delivery schedules, supporting the Furniture Project Manager and installation teams.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant company policies, including quality, health and safety, environmental and anti-bribery procedures.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
