Stifel strives for a culture that puts its clients and associates first: a culture where everyone belongs, everyone is welcome, and everyone contributes to the success of our clients, their careers, and the firm as a whole.

Let’s talk about how you can find your place here at Stifel, where success meets success.

What You'll Be Doing

The Strategist will coordinate with tax credit sellers, law firms, accounting firms and other industry players to source tax credit inventory. They will also work with clients to help them understand the transfer tax credit trade, coordinate with clients to gain internal approval to do a trade, identify relevant advisors to assist the client, and serve as a market advisor across the transaction lifecycle.

What We're Looking For

  • Partner with sales representatives and the remainder of strategies to serve Stifel's clients interested in exploring the tax credit strategy
  • Develop tax credit strategy recommendations which are communicated to banks via virtual and in-person presentations
  • Analyze tax credit inventory to match relevant offerings based on demand
  • Establish target client lists built in conjunction with broader strategies goals with accountability to maximize client touch and transaction volume
  • Continue to develop and refine tax credit inventory through new and existing seller relationships
  • Coordinate with team members to successfully manage banks along the transaction timeline

  • Additional duties and projects as assigned by the Managing Director of Tax Credit Solutions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
