About the Role
The Fiber Deployment Engineer is an individual contributor role accountable for driving delivery onsite, within our data centers. This role makes the magic happen onsite, partnering with third-parties and acting as a partner, QA/QC engineer, and escalation point of contact. You will own the reporting of progress, executive communications, technical troubleshooting, and technical engagement with our LV partners.
This role serves as a critical connective function across internal teams, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on priorities, dependencies, risks, decisions, and execution plans required to deliver data center capacity successfully.
You will partner closely with AI, Data Center Development, Design & Construction, Engineering, Power & Utilities, Network, Operations, and Executive Leadership to create a single operating rhythm across complex infrastructure programs. You will be accountable for driving day-to-day progress onsite.
The ideal candidate has deep, onsite experience running GPU and network deployments. This individual will have worked within network operations, data center operations, deployment or network scaling functions. You should be highly effective at partnering with internal teams and external vendors, influencing without authority, aligning senior stakeholders, unblocking decisions, and solving technical problems on the fly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
