Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

The role combines fiber infrastructure expertise, project delivery, field quality oversight, and vendor and stakeholder coordination. It acts as a bridge among Parkwide Systems, IT and network teams, engineering, technical services, facilities, security, operations, consultants, contractors, and construction partners to provide resilient, scalable, maintainable, and standards-compliant connectivity.

  • Manage and support the end-to-end delivery of parkwide fiber-optic and structured cabling infrastructure, from concept and design development through procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, acceptance, and handover.
  • Support scope definition, schedules, budgets, risk management, change control, and project reporting for fiber backbone, horizontal cabling, equipment-room, pathway, and distribution workstreams.
  • Coordinate fiber routes, pathways, telecom rooms, data-center interfaces, entrance facilities, demarcation points, rack layouts, cross-connects, and system connection requirements with architectural, civil, structural, MEP, network, and system disciplines.
  • Track design and construction progress against daily goals and major milestones; maintain fiber installation and integration schedules; identify constraints, delays, and deviations early; and promptly communicate completions, emergencies, or variations from the project schedule.
  • Participate in site walks, design reviews, construction coordination meetings, readiness reviews, and turnover planning.
  • Coordinate contractors and engineers to keep installation work on schedule and quality high; manage multiple vendors and contractors, motivate performance, and drive field issues through timely.
  • Serve as a fiber and physical-layer infrastructure subject-matter resource for parkwide systems and connected technology disciplines.
  • Ensure designs provide appropriate route diversity, redundancy, security, growth capacity, reliability, maintainability, and sustainability for current and future operational needs.
  • Oversee and inspect vendor and contractor work for compliance with approved designs, specifications, installation standards, manufacturer requirements, and project quality expectations.
