Field Account Executive

Location: Glasgow

Salary: Up to £50,000 base, plus commission + generous benefits package

We are seeking a Field Account Executive to join a leading global technology organisation within its growing UK Hospitality team.

Based in Glasgow, you'll play a key role in expanding the company's presence across the hospitality market, with a strong focus on building a physical presence across your territory. You'll manage the full sales cycle each month, from lead generation and in-person demonstrations through to negotiation and closing.

Key Responsibilities as a Field Account Executive

  • Take ownership of your territory and develop a strong understanding of the UK hospitality industry.
  • Research competitors, products and market activity to identify opportunities and inform sales strategies.
  • Generate new business through door-to-door prospecting, cold calling, presentations and networking events.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying and developing leads through to meetings, value propositions, financial structuring, negotiation and close.
  • Visit customers regularly to understand their business challenges and pain points.
  • Deliver effective in-person demonstrations of the hospitality product.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records within Salesforce.
  • Process sales quotes and deadlines accurately.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams to develop strategies to grow the sales pipeline based on market feedback.
  • Consistently work towards and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.

Experience you'll need as a Field Account Executive

  • Relevant experience in field and outbound sales, ideally within solution-led or technology-related sales.
  • Strong experience and understanding of the hospitality sector.
  • Good understanding of sales development best practices.
  • Excellent customer service, telephone, listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM to manage and organise pipeline.
  • An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, with a bias towards action and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
