Field Sales Account Manager – Scotland | £35,000–£45,000 + bonus up to 40% + Tesla Model 3 or car allowance
A multinational manufacturer with real weight behind it — a premium lifestyle brand for the home, trading in more than a dozen countries and still expanding. Not a name nobody's heard of, and not a business chasing volume on price. It got to this scale by staying premium and by earning genuine trust with the trade partners who sell it on, and the UK arm is growing fast inside that wider international group.
Role Overview
This field-based role covers Scotland, with occasional reach into North East England and Ireland, and it's built on relationships, not price. You're out in front of the specialist retail teams who put this product in front of customers, training and backing them so they reach for it first. No script, no rigid playbook — you run your own patch your way, backed by a business that actually invests in an Account Manager's own ideas. You'll work alongside an existing, well-established territory Account Manager as the patch is split between you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Be the Account Manager people are genuinely glad to see, not just tolerate.
- Run your own territory, trusted to get on with it, and prefer to be judged on what you've built than a script.
- Premium or lifestyle-product retail/trade experience is a strong plus, but winning people over and holding their trust matters more than a specific sector background.
- Field sales, territory management, or business development experience all translate well here.
