Job Title: Field Account Manager – AA Cars

Location: Field Based – South East

Salary: OTE £40,000

Employment Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Think the AA is just about roadside assistance? Think again!

As one of the UK's most trusted brands, we're committed to keeping Britain moving.

We’re looking to recruit an Account Manager within AA Cars where you'll manage a portfolio of 100–200 established dealer accounts across the South East, building strong relationships and helping our partners get the most from the AA Cars platform.

This is a field-based role where you'll spend four days a week visiting dealerships and one day planning your week. You'll focus on retaining and growing existing accounts through contract renewals, price negotiations, increasing stock listings, and identifying upsell opportunities across our range of products and services, including Vehicle Inspections and more. New business isn't your focus – our dedicated sales team takes care of that.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, negotiating with confidence and spotting commercial opportunities. You'll have the chance to earn up to £10,000 in commission each year, with commission available from your first month, alongside a company hybrid car, fuel card and the support of a trusted, well-known brand.

What will I be doing?

  • Build, retain and grow a portfolio of dealer accounts, delivering against monthly retention targets.
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase Average Transaction Value (ATV) and maximise account growth.
  • Negotiate contract renewals and expanded stock listings to grow revenue.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Service, Vehicle Inspections and Mediation teams to deliver the best outcomes for dealers.
  • Proactively reduce dealer attrition by identifying risks early and resolving issues effectively.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and deliver against agreed service standards.
  • Manage your portfolio commercially, identifying opportunities to increase revenue while protecting long-term partnerships.
  • Champion AA values and represent the brand with professionalism and integrity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
