Field Account Manager - Southern Region
VOW Wholesale have a new role available for a Field Account Manager to join our growing and successful Southern Region. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and tenacious Sales Person to embark on an exciting career at VOW.
VOW is part of EVO Group, the largest multi-channel distributor of business supplies and services in the industry. It has large influence in our sector through our size and experience in the UK. What Will You Be Doing?
As a Field Account Manager, you'll shape and deliver VOW's short- to medium-term strategic vision. Your role will focus on:
- Building partnerships with Customers to promote VOW's value proposition while supporting their business plans and objectives.
- Driving growth by working with new and existing customers and Suppliers to boost brand sales, training, and awareness.
- Expanding categories such as facilities supplies (janitorial & cleaning), workplace essentials, technology, furniture, and new vertical sector ranges.
- Leveraging our 50,000+ product portfolio to maximise opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage customers through telesales, face-to-face meetings, and a consultative approach to win new business and strengthen strategic relationships.
- Set clear objectives and tactics to secure Sales and deliver margin growth for both VOW and our Customers.
- Leverage VOW's full service offering to drive customer sales and profitability.
- Collaborate internally with teams such as Customer Services, Commercial Development, Credit Control, Demand Planning, Inventory, Marketing, Operations Product Management and Transport.
- Monitor and analyse performance using Power BI, Microsoft Excel and CRM reports to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with OEMs to promote new product ranges and become an expert in key lines.
- Support VOW Marketing Initiatives to drive specific OEM campaigns with Customers and help shape marketing activity.
- Deliver on KPIs with proactive planning and consistent execution.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, with a consistent track record of success and a genuine, likable, authentic approach to building trust with customers.
- Proven exposure to winning new business and successfully onboarding new customers, taking ownership and accountability for results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credible relationships and influence effectively at all levels through honesty and integrity.
- High levels of grit and resilience, with the adaptability to perform in a fast-paced, merit-driven environment; comfortable working to targets, learning from setbacks, and consistently exceeding goals.
- A solid understanding of business planning techniques, with a willingness to continuously refine approaches as priorities and markets evolve.
- Good end-to-end knowledge of the sales process, including pricing and operations, and an understanding of how these elements impact sustainable profitability.
- Confident and responsible in managing VOW data, with strong experience using Microsoft Excel and an openness to develop new skills, tools, and ways of working as systems and processes change.
