Field Activation Representative
Role Overview
The role will provide flexible field support across an assigned region. The primary focus of the role is to deliver in-store events and activities, requiring regular driving and travel throughout the region. The representative will also provide additional support by covering vacant territories, assisting colleagues during periods of absence, and contributing to regional projects as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-store consumer engagement, product sampling and brand activation activities, including brand advocacy and new product launch support, as briefed by the Regional Manager.
- Record field activity accurately and provide post-visit or post-event feedback.
- Cover an existing sales territory during holidays, sickness or vacancies, following the territory’s agreed visit frequency, priority stores and store tiering.
- Log all activities under the covered territory on the Monday board to maintain data continuity when the assigned SDR returns or a replacement starts.
- Flag any retailer relationship, issue or opportunity requiring follow-up or handover to the Regional Manager.
- Support wholesale depot events and retailer engagement, including trade education and engagement activities with wholesale and distribution partners.
- Assist with new product launches and other regional projects.
- Support the onboarding of new sales representatives through joint store visits, shadowing or co-visiting during their first few weeks.
- Assist with territory transitions when an area is split or reallocated, maintaining continuity while the new SDR builds retailer relationships.
- Respond flexibly to changing priorities and undertake other activities assigned by the Regional Manager.
- Travel across the assigned region at short notice when required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
